Hitman's confession saved Rosemary Ndlovu's co-accused's husband

KEMPTON PARK - One of convicted murderer Rosemary Ndlovu’s alleged victims was saved by the would-be hitman’s confession.

This is information that emerged at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s court as the killer cop was back in the dock, this time over an alleged murder plot targeting her co-worker’s husband.

Ndlovu and fellow Thembisa police officer, Nomsa Mudau, are accused of approaching hitmen, offering them R150 000 to carry out the killing of Justice Mudau.

Ndlovu, already serving six life sentences for insurance killings, and Mudau now face charges that include conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly ordering the hit on her co-accused’s husband.

The matter returns to court on 20 May 2026, as proceedings move closer to judgment in a case that continues to grip the nation.
