JOHANNESBURG - Brian Hlongwa’s family says those with evidence proving he stole money from the Gauteng Health Department should produce it.
The 60-year-old passed away just before Christmas after a short illness.
He was a longtime youth activist and political leader who rose through the ranks in the ANC and served as Health MEC.
"My brother would have been very happy to have tackled this case long ago," said Vusi Hlongwa.
"He spent every cent of his preparing for the defence."
