EKURHULENI - Germiston Home Affairs building in Ekurhuleni has been engulfed in flames.
Emergency services are on the scene and firefighters are attempting to quell the blaze at the two story building.
Ekurhuleni EMS spokesperson, William Tladi, who is on site says the top section of the building is mostly affected while the extent of damage on the lower section is yet to be determined.
This is because they are still battling to enter.
He confirmed that so far no casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
As a result of this fire, President and Jack streets have been closed off for traffic while buildings nearby have been closed off for safety.
