Hong Kong officials continue searching for hundreds of missing residents

HONG KONG - Firefighters in Hong Kong are still searching for hundreds of missing residents after a massive blaze tore through a high-rise building.

At least 94 people have been confirmed dead after flames swept across seven tower blocks in the Tai Po district, marking the deadliest fire in more than 70 years.

Three construction executives have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and gross negligence, with officials promising a full investigation. 

The fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon and spread quickly, sending thick smoke over the city with more than 270 people unaccounted for.
