JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service has warned that the El Niño weather pattern will bring less rainfall and hotter than normal temperatures from October to December.
South African Weather Service's Tokelo Chiloane said Gauteng is currently in the grip of a heatwave.
"Currently we are out of heatwave conditions however the heat is still going to be there, it's going to last long. We'll have days where we have cloud cover but most days we'll experience through the remaining months of spring into summer season will be warm to hot to very hot conditions," Chiloane said.
