HPCSA: 'Dr Nandi' was suspended

JOHANNESBURG - The Health Professions Council says Dr Nandipha Magudumana's licence to practice was suspended, because she failed to pay annual fees.

The medical watchdog says the fees were due in April 2021.

Magudumana, known as Dr Nandi, is believed to be on the run with her alleged partner, Thabo Bester, the so-called Facebook rapist.

Bester escaped from the Mangaung maximum prison in May in 2022

He was serving a life sentence for rape and murder.
