JOHANNESBURG - The IEC has extended the Constitutional Court’s ANC candidate-list ruling to 32 other political parties, allowing them to contest the 4 November local government elections.
The decision affects 107 municipalities and means 6.6 million additional ballots still need to be printed.
Despite the logistical challenges, the IEC has said the election date remains unchanged.
