IEC says it wont be drawn into MK Party drama

JOHANNESBURG - The Electoral Commission refuses to be part of the drama playing out in the uMkhonto weSizwe Party.

It's confirmed receiving former leader, Jabulani Khumalo's letter seeking it remove Jacob Zuma as the face of the MKP and as president.

According to the IEC, Zuma has been the registered leader of MKP since the 10th of April.

MK Party spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela spoke to the eNCA to give a clarification on what is currently happening within the newly formed party.
