JOHANNESBURG -The fight over President Cyril Ramaphosa's impeachment inquiry is heating up.
Section 89 Impeachment Committee chairperson Makashule Gana has filed an affidavit opposing the President's urgent court bid to halt the committee's work.

Ramaphosa is seeking an interdict pending a review of the Independent Panel's report.
Committee members met last week and agreed that the President's application should be stopped.
The matter will be heard in the High Court in Cape Town on 15 and 16 July.
