Inquest into Chief Albert Luthuli's death continues

KWAZULU_NATAL - The inquest into the death of Chief Albert Luthuli is continuing at the KwaZulu-Natal High Court, Pietermaritzburg division.

A police crime scene analyst, Warrant Officer Brandon Craig-Burgess, has been testifying.

He says the injuries listed in the reports were not aligned with the cause of Luthuli's death.

The apartheid government claimed Luthuli was hit by a goods train in 1967, a claim his family and the ANC are  disputing.

More expert witnesses are expected to take the stand.
