JOHANNESBURG - The SA Weather Service is warning residents of Western Cape, Northern Cape and the Free State of potential heavy rains, gale force winds, and possible snowfall.
The weather service says the intense cold is expected to make landfall on Wednesday.

A cold front made landfall in the SW parts of RSA, resulting in 30-60% showers and rain in the W parts but 80% in the SW coast.
