ROODERPORT - Tiffany Meek is fighting for her freedom in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court.
The 31-year-old is applying for bail, but the state is strongly opposing it. She faces four serious charges, including murder, in connection with the death of her young son, Jayden-Lee Meek.

During the bail hearing, the court heard that Meek’s statements have contradictions and these are now under the spotlight.
An investigating officer told the court it’s unlikely that Meek acted alone. However, for now, she remains the only person charged in the case.
