CAIRO - High-stakes talks aimed at ending the war in Gaza are resuming in Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh.
US, Egyptian, and Qatari mediators say Monday's negotiations bore positive outcomes.
The talks come on the second anniversary of the 7 October attack, which triggered Israel's campaign in Gaza.
At the centre of the negotiations is a US-backed peace plan.
It proposes a hostage-for-prisoners exchange and a potential path to a broader ceasefire.
But key sticking points remain a barrier on both sides.
Hamas will struggle to accept disarmament and end its role in Gaza, while Netanyahu will face backlash from conservatives for allowing a Palestinian state.
