JOHANNESBURG - The murder trial against Tiffany Meek has been postponed to September after a site visit to the home where the body of her 11-year-old son Jayden-Lee was found.
The court is waiting for photographs taken during the inspection to be compiled and submitted as evidence.
The state alleges Jayden-Lee was killed inside his home, suffering a blunt-force head injury.
Meek denies killing her son and has pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, several witnesses have already testified, including Jayden-Lee’s teacher and scholar-transport driver, who were among the last people to have seen him alive.
The case returns to the Johannesburg High Court on 14 September.
