JOHANNESBURG - Emergency Services in the City of Johannesburg remain on high alert amidst heavy downpours.
The South African Weather Services warned that showers and thunder showers are expected to persist throughout the week, affecting parts of the country.
EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi has urged residents and motorists to practice caution.
At the same time, they urged those practicing baptism ceremonies at rivers and streams to hold off as water levels remain high.
