JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng High Court Judge, Nana Makhubele, has been referred to the national assembly for impeachment and removal from office.
The Judicial Service Commission made the referral after finding her guilty of gross misconduct.
The Zondo commission referred Makhubele to the JSC.
A judicial conduct tribunal hearing was initiated after it emerged that the judge was simultaneously holding the position of Prasa Chairperson.
Makhubele has also been found guilty of failing to act against impropriety while serving in that role.
