The state alleges she used her X account to urge followers to take violent action after her father, former President Jacob Zuma’s arrest.
Zuma-Sambudla is one of over 60 alleged instigators charged in connection with the unrest.
The riots and looting in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng left more than three-hundred people dead.
Zuma-Sambudla says the charges are politically motivated.
