Justice for Meyiwa | Accused may face more charges

PRETORIA - Three of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial could face additional charges.

Police are probing a case of assault following a scuffle between accused 3, 4 and 5 and a warden in court on Monday.

The trial within a trial to determine the admissibility of confessions by accused 1 and 2 also continued.

The accused maintain they were beaten into confessing.

A claim the lead investigating officer, Bongani Gininda, again denied.

Cross-examination continues on Thursday.
