Kidnapped Brits teenagers rescued

JOHANNESBURG - Two North West teenagers who were kidnapped outside a school in Brits have been freed.

Zahra and Hafez Mohammed were abducted over three weeks ago.

North West Police say numerous arrests have been made and one suspect has already appeared in court.

“We can confirm that the cousins have been found. At the moment they are undergoing some medical checks," said North West police spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone.

"We have also managed to arrest a number of suspects but I can also confirm that the first suspect was arrested a few days after the kidnapping and he has already appeared in court."
