Kruger rebuilds after January floods

MPUMALANGA - Kruger National Park is set to unveil repaired infrastructure damaged in the January floods.

The floods wreaked havoc across the park, destroying roads, bridges and tourism facilities.

Tourists were left stranded and had to be rescued, while cancelled bookings cost the tourism industry billions of rands.

Park authorities are hoping to have Kruger ready to welcome visitors ahead of the festive season.
