Kubayi hails progress in extraditing AKA's alleged killers

JOHANNESBURG - Justice and Constitutional Development Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi, has welcomed confirmation that two suspects in the murders of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello Motsoane have withdrawn their appeal against extradition from Eswatini.

The National Prosecuting Authority confirmed that Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande have abandoned their bid to stay in the kingdom, bringing South Africa closer to securing their return.

Eswatini authorities will now handle final procedures before extradition.

Kubayi praised the cooperation between South African and Eswatini officials in advancing the case.
