KZN education scrambles for funds to fix damaged schools

DURBAN - The education department in KwaZulu-Natal says all schools will open this week.

That's despite 59 schools being damaged by floods in the province during the festive season.

Spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi says the department will have to redirect money from other projects to fix the damaged and vandalised schools.
