DURBAN - A preliminary investigation by the Labour Department has uncovered possible negligence in the maintenance and safety protocols of property company Homii Lifestyle.
The property management company manages a Durban apartment building where twins Aphile and Aphelele Dlamini fell into an open lift shaft.

Aphelele did not survive the fall, while his sister remains in critical condition.
It was the second such incident at that building.
