At least 51 deaths recorded on North West roads this festive season

JOHANNESBURG - The North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management says at least 51 lives have been lost in the province during this festive season.

Officials say 72 crashes have been recorded on North West roads since the beginning of December.

It's a decrease compared to the same period last year.

Motorists are urged to be cautious on the roads.
