PRETORIA - Days after appearing at the Thohoyandou Magistrates' Court, suspended Organised Crime Unit policeman Sergeant Fannie Nkosi is back at the Pretoria North Magistrates' Court.
The state has combined his Limpopo criminal charges with his existing Pretoria cases into a single prosecution.
The state is ready to go to trial against the suspended Organised Crime Unit officer.
He faces multiple charges including theft, fraud and defeating the ends of justice.
Some of the allegations stem from evidence before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.

And this relates to a case in 2022, where Nkosi allegedly removed a docket and exhibits under false pretences from the Thohoyandou Police Station.
He also faces charges for possessing explosives and failing to safeguard weapons.
These arise from his April arrest, where police uncovered hidden cash and stolen dockets at his home.
Nkosi has also been accused of acting as a middleman, helping drug cartels infiltrate law enforcement.
In what's been a double blow for Nkosi, he remains behind bars after being denied bail by both the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court and the High Court in Pretoria.
His case has now been transferred to Regional Court 1, where he will stand trial.
