JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba is visiting the Lily Mine site in Barberton, Mpumalanga to meet with families still seeking justice nearly a decade after the mine’s collapse.
Miners Solomon Nyirenda, Pretty Nkambule, and Yvonne Mnisi were trapped in a container that plunged into a sinkhole in 2016.

The container with their bodies has never been recovered.
Last year, the Mbombela High Court ruled that Lily Mine, the SAPS, and the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy should be held responsible for the miners' deaths.
