Limpopo bus crash families waiting to identify loved ones

GABORONE -The nightmare for families of victims of the horror Limpopo bus crash is far from over.

They have to endure a long wait for news as a difficult identification process continues.

A total of 45 people were killed when their bus plunged off a bridge and caught fire on the way from Botswana to Moria.

Family members at the Zion Christian Church in Molepolole, in Botswana, coming to grips with

the tragedy that has taken their loved ones.

This village in the Kweneng district of Botswana is home to the Bakwena.

One of the largest traditional villages on the continent with a population of over 100,000.

Now 45 families have to identify members, who who died when their bus plunged off a bridge on Thursday.

Botswana's High Commissioner to SA says the sole survivor, an 8-year-old girl is out of danger.

The bus was headed to Moria, north of where they were coming from.  

Authorities cannot commit to deadlines as they expect a very tricky identification process and then repatriation.
