Lion population receives a boost with two new males

EASTERN CAPE - Two male lions have found a new home in the Eastern Cape. 

Originally from the Twee Rivieren section of the Kgalagadi National Park, the pair - both around seven-years-old, have been relocated to Addo Elephant National Park.

After spending a few weeks in a holding boma to acclimatise, they were released into the wild on Thursday. 

Early signs suggest the lions are adjusting well to their new environment.
