Listeriosis outbreak | Families still waiting for justice

VOSLOORUS - It's been over six years and some families are still waiting for justice after the deadly Listeriosis outbreak.

Over 200 people died and thousands were affected by the bacteria at a Tiger Brands factory.

One Vosloorus family lost their 11-year-old boy, while another in Tshwane told eNCA their 9-year-old daughter was diagnosed with meningitis as a result of the contamination.

Now, families want to know why no one has been held to account.

There has still been no offer for settlement by Tiger Brands and with no court date in sight, there may never be any compensation.

  • eNCA's Pule Letshwiti-Jones sat down with the families and brings us this exclusive report.
