JOHANNESBURG - Three accused in connection with the murder of anti-apartheid activist Caiphus Nyoka are back in the Benoni magistrate’s court.
Leon Louis van den Berg, Abram Hercules Engelbrecht, and Pieter Egbert Stander have pleaded not guilty to the August 1987 murder.

Their fourth co-accused, Johan Marais, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Marais’ sentencing has been hailed as the start of the country’s journey towards justice.
