Lunar substation fire leaves Lenasia south in the dark

JOHANNESBURG - A fire at the Lunar Substation has left several areas in Lenasia South without power.

City power says it is working to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage, adding that technicians will start repairing the substation once they receive authorisation.

City Power also says it will only be able to provide turnaround times once the repair work commences.

The affected areas include Migson Manor, Finetown and Mountain View.
