PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission has dismissed Parliamentarian Fadiel Adams' assertion that his official laptop was not working.
Adams first appeared at the Commission on 11 August, where he said he had not seen the Rule 3 Notice sent to him in October 2025. He said that his work laptop had not been working.
Parliament subsequently refuted his claim. Adams fought back, giving eNCA 'proof' that it had not been working.

The 'proof' was an email sent from MP Sakiena Frenchman's device. Chairperson Mbuyiseli Madlanga said that was not physical evidence that the laptop had not been working.
"I will never dream of telling the Commission what to do, but if it pleases the Commission, rather to speak to the technicians at Parliament and they can confirm how many times I have been there with my laptop," he said.
Adams stood firm that his "proof" was what he sent eNCA, which is the single email from Frenchman's device.
