JOHANNESBURG - The murder case of former ANC Youth League Secretary General Sindiso Magaqa has been postponed to 6 November, for an application brought by the state to be argued.
The state wants the lawyer for one of the accused to withdraw from the matter, citing a conflict of interest.
It argued that Advocate Shane Matthews, who represents Sbonelo accused no. 2 Myeza, was previously on record as the lawyer for self-confessed hitman Sibusiso Ncengwa.
Ncengwa received a 25-year prison sentence in July for his involvement in Magaqa's 2017 assassination.
