Mass funeral held for Pongola crash victims

PONGOLA - The driver of the bakkie and 14 children who died in the horrific Pongola crash have been laid to rest.

A mass funeral was attended by hundreds of community members and government officials including transport Minister Fikile Mbalula and Police minister Bheki Cele.

20 passengers in the bakkie, mostly children died after a truck crashed into it while overtaking several cars.
