Meyiwa Murder Trial | Khumalo's lawyer denied courtroom access

JOHANNESBURG - Kelly Khumalo's lawyer Magdalene Moonsamy's request to be back in the courtroom at the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial was unsuccessful.

Her request for court recordings and transcripts of the case has also been denied.

A close friend of murdered soccer star, Senzo Meyiwa, returned to the stand on Monday.

Tumelo Madlala was in the house when the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was shot.

During his last cross-examination, Madlala claimed to recognise one of the accused, Bongani Ntanzi, from the night of the murder.

This time, defence lawyers took issue with some of his sworn statement.
