Minister calls for early sexual education amid rising child abuse cases

KOSTER - Early and comprehensive sexual education is critical in addressing social challenges facing young people.

That's the word from Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe, who's raised concerns over the increasing cases of child abuse and teenage pregnancy across the country.

She is leading an outreach programme in parts of the North West, including Koster and Manamakgoteng.

The Minister is expected to continue her integrated outreach programme in parts of Bojanala District in the next two days.

It's part of efforts to bring a full range of social development services closer to communities.
