JOHANNESBURG - The bodies and cars found in the Hennops River during the search for the missing constables were not all located in the same area.

Police commissioner Fannie Masemola explained that a Renault belonging to another missing person was the first vehicle to be found, prior to the recovery of their remains.
He said, "[It] looks like people believe all the bodies where found here, which is not the case. Our colleagues left from Bloemfontein, the signal died where we are, next to N14 they found a Renault in the river on Monday, which belongs to the gardener who works at Littleton."
"His car fell in the dam with the car which was found on Monday afternoon. He was on kilometre away from home and the wife looked for him and he was recovered seen by the helicopter, I must clarify that the Renault did not fall here, the other body was found on the same river on the other side of Makro in the river."
A detailed investigation into the crash is underway.
