Mkhwebane plans to release recording of alleged extortion
CAPE TOWN - Suspended Public Protector, Busisiswe Mkhwebane, plans to make public the recording on the alleged extortion by the late Tina Joemat-Pettersson.
Mkhwebane has accused Joemat-Pettersson of trying to quash the inquiry into her fitness to hold office with a bribe.
Inquiry Chairperson, Qubudile Dyantyi, and ANC Chief Whip Pemmy Majodina are also accused of being part of the scheme.
Dyantyi says it is not the first time that Mkhwebane has tried to get him removed from the inquiry.
He says Mkhwebane must give her alleged evidence to the correct channels.
