JOHANNESBURG - More vaccines are being rolled out to fight Foot and Mouth Disease, but they cover just over a third of the national herd.
Over the weekend, the country received another two-million Dollvet vaccines to strengthen efforts to contain the outbreak.
At the moment, more than 5.4 million cattle have been vaccinated nationwide.

That is out of a target of 14-million, as set out by the Agricultural Ministry.
The Free State has emerged as a leader in the campaign, becoming the first province to surpass the one-million vaccination mark.
The Northern Cape is the province with the least number of vaccinated cattle.
