Motion of no confidence against Ekurhuleni mayor to be heard next week

JOHANNESBURG - A motion of no confidence against Ekurhuleni Mayor Tania Campbell has been accepted by the City’s Programming Committee.

The motion will be heard in next week’s Council Meeting on 30 March.

In February, opposition parties successfully removed the Ekurhuleni council speaker and chief whip from the DA.

They then said the mayor's turn was next.

In November, Campbell was removed, then reinstated as mayor.
