CAPE TOWN - MPs are expecting quite a showdown once Parliament’s Impeachment Committee eventually gets underway.
The sub- committee on the Review of the Assembly Rules is expected to meet again this week to finalise technical processes before the Impeachment Committee can begin its work.
National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza has received the names of all MPs who will serve on the Impeachment Committee from the various parties.

It's not known how President Cyril Ramaphosa's application in the Western Cape High Court to review the Phala Phala report will affect the Committee's timescale.
The matter is set to come up for discussion during this week’s Chief Whips Forum Meeting.
