JOHANNESBURG - A mother accused of killing her own son may soon strike a deal with the State.
Tiffany Meek intends to make a plea proposal.
The 31-year-old faces charges of murder, crimen injuria and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Meek allegedly murdered 11-year-old Jayden-Lee at their home last May.

The boy’s body was found on a staircase inside their complex a day after he was reported missing.
In an interview with eNCA, a private investigator described what he believes was a sinister attempt to cover up the murder and mislead police.
Bloodied towels and some of the boy’s clothing were later discovered inside the home.
Meek has maintained her innocence, but her lawyers say she is still grieving the loss of her son.
The court will now hear on 25 of April whether the state and the defence will reach an agreement on her plea proposal.
