N1 highway murder | Eyewitness shares his story

JOHANNESBURG - One Bosmont resident and eyewitness says he saw several suspected zama zama's before they were shot.

UPDATE: At least 6 bodies found next to N1 on West Rand

He alleged hundreds of people were making their way towards the group.

At least six bodies have been found in a veld near the Maraisburg off-ramp in Roodepoort on Wednesday morning. 

He said, "I live in the Bosmont community opposite the cemetery and there is a little hit just opposite High Gate there were five zama zama's standing on top of the hill." "Then one minute I saw the five standing there was a stream if people running along the tarn line there was about 100 people and the zama zamas, started on chasing them."

"They ran at the back of the the houses... they clearly came to hunt the down... at night we heard gun shots... one of the dead bodies was found at the bottom of the road laying right outside the house.... the gunshots happened last night there wasn't any police they only showed up this morning."
