National Shutdown | Right2Know campaign says no to shutdown

JOHANNESBURG - The Right to Know Campaign says while citizens have a right to protest,

A forced shutdown is not the way to go, given the state of the country, according to the NGO.

Right to Know's National coordinator, Verushka Memdutt said, ''we've said no to a forced shutdown, when you look at  the right to protest, it's protected by the constitution, it should be within the confines of the law that allows certain action to take place."

"It raises fear and panic and it's not necessary."
