DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal authorities hope the new SAPS Forensic Science Laboratory will ease DNA backlogs in the province.
Public Works Minister Dean Macpherson handed the lab over on Friday morning, in Mayville, Durban.
The facility will house various forensic units.
