JOHANNESBURG - Calls to end deadly taxi violence in Gauteng are growing louder, with nearly 60 people killed this year alone.
Now, the provincial government is reviving a specialised public transport intervention unit.
The plan has the backing of SANTACO, whose chairperson Midday Mali says they've seen such a unit work before, and believe it could work again.
