Here in this country, experts have warned of a sixth wave.

Professor Jonny Peter from UCT's Lung Institute says the new vaccine has fewer side effects.

He said, "one of the things that we've seen in these early trials with some intranasal candidates is we have seen they're very very well tolerated...we have seen reduced vaccine side effects compared the intra mascular root...one of the hopes is that...potentially this could be better tolerated and be another good option for people that either have not been vaccinated or feel some hesitancy towards getting vaccine because of concerns around adverse events."
