JOHANNESBURG - City Power has announced new escalation protocols for power interruptions and area outages.

The toll-free line will operate daily between 6 AM and 6 PM.

Customers experiencing power outages are advised to escalate area outage queries if they're not addressed within four hours and power supply interruptions exceeding 24 hours.

The new toll-free line, 0800 003 156 is launched to ensure effective and efficient supply interruption resolution.

When calling the toll-free line, customers are advised to have their reference numbers handy to avoid spending more time on the call.
