NMU student fatally stabbed

JOHANNESBURG - A Nelson Mandela University student has been stabbed to death and a fellow student has been arrested for the killing.

The incident happened at a residence on George Campus on Tuesday.

It's unclear what led to the stabbing.

The university says it's providing counselling and other support to students.

It says the institution is shaken by the stabbing, and appeals for calm and sensitivity as the police investigate.
