No arrests yet after seven killed in Eastern Cape

Family of those shot and killed on Wednesday night say gunmen demanded money that was intended for the funeral of their mother.

TANTSEKA VILLAGE - The Eastern Cape has been rocked by yet another mass shooting.

This time six members of the same family and a neighbour have been gunned down at Tantseka Village, near Mthatha.

It's believed three armed men entered their home and opened fire.

At the time, the bereaved family was holding a prayer meeting in preparation for the burial of another member who was also shot and killed in the village recently.
